ETA: I am entering this card for the new challenge at the
Caardvarks. I always recieve their blog updates and never had the chance to enter anything before. So, I am glad I have this card to play along!
Yeah, I love spring! The weather is so perfect, the trees are blooming, and the birds are returning to their nest. It is spring my friends, and I love this time of the year!
I have a card to share today. I made this one for the
Die Cuts R Us challenge.
I must say that I was so tempted to add more embellishments to my card, but I didn’t do it because I needed to stick to the challenge’s rules. As you can see, I made a little boy’s card. A couple of weeks ago I made a girls card, so it was about time to make one for a boy. You never know when you will need one! The image is from Inkadinkado ~ Baby boy set.
I used my circle and label three nestabilities dies for the focal point. I cut a strip of paper and stitched it to the circle. I added the tree buttons near the image to draw more attention to the focal point. The organza ribbon is from my stash. The patterned papers are from PTI (
tiny polka dot) and the other one is from DCWV (stripes). * The little dots on the elephant are part of the image, they were enhanced by appliying a little bit of liquid applique, those are not pearls!
Okay girls, thanks for stopping by today. Have a wonderful day!
