Have a blooming good day!!

Hello everyone! Just popping in to show the card I made using one of favorite owl images. Probably you will recognize it. Yes, it is from Hero Arts! Don’t you love it!
I will be entering this card for the new color challenge at the Die Cuts R us blog. I just started to follow this blog, and I  really love  the challenges they have every week.

I stamped the image and colored it with my prisma pencils. To add dimension to the card, I colored the flowers and then I cut them out. After that,  I sprinkled some glitter on the petals to add some sparkle.

The beautiful patterned papers are from Cosmo Cricket. The button and the ribbon are from my stash. I created a border on the polka dot paper to decorate the spellbinder label.  I noticed that the punch created a nice effect on the polka dot paper. Hope you can see it on the picture below!

Here is a closer look to see the little details on it.

The sentiment is from MFT Stamp Company and it is part of another owl set that I have. I also used my Swiss dots embossing folder to add a little bit of texture.

That’s all I have for you today, thanks everyone for visiting me again! Have a fantastic and a sweet day!

My mother, my friend...the reason I am here today!!!

Hello everyone! Here I am again to share a card I made for my mom. Yes, it is a little bit early to be making mother’s day cards ~ I know! I guess that I was so inspired by this beautiful pink patterned paper and  Melissa's photo color challenge. It is amazing how much inspiration you can get from a picture or a color palette!

This paper doesn’t belong to a particular paper collection. I know that the person who designed this paper is Anna Griffin; I think I got it from Archivers a couple of weeks ago. I used my new UK success punch to create a little bit of movement to the bottom of my card.

I must say that the ribbon is not as brighter as it appears to be on the picture,  it is a little bit softer ~ trust me!  At first, I wanted to make a bow, but soon I changed my mind because this ribbon is too wide. Well, I didn’t want the bow to be the focal point. I thought that adding just a piece of the ribbon to the card would add a nice touch to it.

I made a little tag to stamp the scalloped image and the sentiment. This card uses PTI polka dot stamp to create the background on the tag. I added gems around the scalloped image too. Then the flower, the button, and of course twine to make a little bow around the flower.

Okay girls, I have to go now! Thanks for coming back again to check my blog and for the beautiful comments you have left for me. I really appreciate your kind words…

Enjoy your day!

Alert ~Oh no, comments wrong count!

Edited to add: I am happy to report that the problem with comments count/missing has been fixed. You should be able to see all your comments by now. Blogger was doing some maintenance on commenting backend. I am really glad they solved this problem!!

Good morning everyone! I just popped to let you know about an issue that is going on with blogger. Please check your comments and see if you have the right count. Also, make sure your comments have not been erased  from you blog either.  I was checking my blog, and I noticed that I have a wrong count of my comments. For example, I have 5 comments on one of my posts and it will show zero comments. In my case, the comments are still there but not showing in numbers. Some people are very upset when they found out that they have lost all their comments ~ hope this will not be your case!

I thought this was important to share since comments are very valuable to us. It is unclear why this is happening! I already left a note on blogger help forum. If I get any information, I will be sharing it with all of you. Click on the blogger link above!

Have a sweet day!!
