Yummy!!

Happy Monday everyone!! Hope you all had a great weekend. It is time to share the card I created for our new challenge at The Pink Elephant Blog. This week, we have a Theme Challenge – “Gotta Wear Shades” The challenge consist in creating a card using bright fun colors. How fun is that!!

digital stamps

Today’s card was created using one of the images from Some Odd Girl ~ These images are so cute and so much fun to color them. My card uses the Nana Split digital image.

This image is so perfect for this challenge, and I was so lucky to have the right papers to create this card. I colored the Nana Split with my prismas color pencils and gamsol. I am so happy I decided to use pink thread for the stitching. I love the way it looks!!!

As you can see on the picture, I punched a border and added tiny gems on it. I also used a little piece of ribbon and a button near the image. I couldn’t resist adding glitter on the ice cream and the whip cream!!!

Okay girls, that’s all for me today. Thanks for stopping by and leaving your sweet comments!! Please head The Pink Elephant blog to see awesome creations made by the rest of the DT and this week's guest designer.

I Love Orange!!

Hello girls! I’m so happy today is Monday, and I am able to share this card with all of you. It has been crazy around here dealing with some technical difficulties ~ computer related! Good grief! I thought I wasn’t going to be able to even add this post to my blog. Hubby decided to add new software to his computer and my laptop. For some reason, the printer did work at all! But after a couple of hours, he fixed the problem and I was able to print out the image for my card – yeah!!

To make matters worst, I broke my cuttlebug C plate. I didn't know that most of the crafts stores don't carry them. So I had to order it from  this store. By Thursday morning, I was able to create this card for the new challenge at The Pink Elephant. By the way, this week we have a color challenge – which is to make the color orange the focal color of your card. So, here is my card!

This card uses one of the images from Digital Delights. Don’t you love the image I picked for this challenge? You must be thinking… an orange raccoon? Yes! I colored him in orange. Ahem!- I needed to use orange somewhere, right?

I colored the image with my prismacolor pencils. The patterned paper is from Making Memories. I stamped the sentiment and then cut out with one my nestability dies. As a final touch, I added the button, silver brads, and some glitter on the cupcake.

I had so much fun creating this card using this adorable and fun image. Hope you will find the time to make your own card! This is such a fun challenge, just give it a go…!!!

I’m off to see what the rest of the DT has created for this challenge. Thanks for visiting and happy stamping!!!!!

Isn't She So Cooooool.. !!!

Hello everyone! I'm back with a new card to share. This is my card for the newest challenge at The Pink Elephant blog. This week,  we were asked to create a card using Lori's sketch and one of the coolest images designed by Betty Roberts.  If you would like to join in the fun, here is the sketch:

After I printed out the image, I colored it with my prismacolor pencils. You have no idea how challenging it was to color her hair. If you see my previous cards, I have never colored an image with a black hair before. I am glad I did! I really love the way  it looks.

To decorate the focal point, I used my EK Success edger punch. I added some gems on the border and tied a bow around it. I wanted to add some texture to the card, so I decided to use one of my embossing folders to emboss the pink cardstock.

For those of you that wants to know, This image will be available at  Simply Betty Stamps on June 1st. Okay girls now is your turn to create a card using this awesome sketch!!

Thanks for stopping by again! There is more to see, so it is time to visit TPE to see what the rest of the DT has created using these cool images. I need to go back and finish the card I am making for one of my friends. Before I do that, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your sweet comments. I really enjoy visiting your blogs too!!!!!!!!

Having fun with yellow, designer paper, and some buttons...!!!

Hello peeps! Hope you are having a terrific day. As usual on Mondays, I am sharing a card I made for the latest challenge over at The Pink Elephant. This week’s challenge is to create a card using the color yellow, designer paper, and buttons. I am very sure you have all these materials so go ahead and create a card. Then link it to TPE blog for the chance to win two digital images from Meljen’s Designs.

The image I am using on this card is called Firefly Fairy. She is one of my favorite’s images, and the good thing about this digital image is that you can make it smaller or larger. It all depends on what kind of project you are working on. I think this image is around 3 and 2/16 inch tall... larger enough to fit in the largest rectangle nestability die.

I used some neutral cardstock to soften a bit the yellow cardstock. The DP is from my Little Shoe Box. To embellish the card, I added buttons on the lower section of the card. And of course, I added glitter to her wings too ~ hope you can see it!

Okay girls, thanks for stopping by! It really makes me happy to know you were here today. If you are looking for more inspiration, please be sure to stop by TPE blog to see what the rest of the design team has created for this week’s challenge. I am off to get some groceries from the supermarket!

Have a happy day!!!

Mommy, I love you! TPE

Happy Monday everyone! I am here again to share the cards I made for The Pink Elephant Challenge Blog. We were asked to create a card using “Mommy, I love you!” theme. This time, we got to play with the newest stamps set (Puddle Jumpers) from Claudia & Company. I‘ve fallen in love with these adorable images. Don’t you really love them? They are the cutest!!!

Whoa! This image is totally cute and her name is Ella. I colored her with my prismacolor pencils and OMS. I couldn’t resist stamping tiny hearts around the image. She is thinking about how much she loves her mommy!

The patterned papers are scraps that I have from previous projects. I love sparkle! So, I added a touch glitter on her little dress and her pearl necklace.

And lastly, here is my second card. This is Sammy! ~ Isn't he cute too? This is another image from Puddle Jumpers set. This little guy looks so sweet and it is so much fun to color him too!

To embellish the card, I added little hearts near the sentiment. If you are wondering about the pretty button, I just added a pearl on top of it to jazz it up a little bit.

I think that all for today! Thank you much for visiting my blog again and especially for taking the time to write me your comments. I really appreciate each of them!

Hope my card and the beautiful cards created by the rest of DT will bring you inspiration to create your own card.
Have a fantastic day!!!
