Sweet Baby!

Hi all and welcome back to my blog! I have a brand new card for you today. I adore making baby cards and that’s exactly what I brought you today. Everything started with the patterned paper and those sweet pastel colors. One thing lead to another and this is what I created using the paper as my inspiration.  I hope you like it!

I must say that getting that baby clothesline stamp was quite a challenge. I had to visit several scrapbook stores around my area until I found it. This adorable image is from Lockhart stamps. I love, love this image! I had so much fun coloring the little baby clothes with my colored pencils. It was really hard to color those tiny images, but I think they look so adorable.

Here's a close up where you can see some of the sparkle:

I added a touch of glitter to the baby clothes. As a final touch, I placed tiny pink buttons at each side of the clothesline. I believe I got these buttons from Michael’s. I guess I need to create a baby boy’s card now. Well, that will happen until a finish some cards I am working on for one of my clients.

Time to get busy stamping!

Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day!!!

Love You Forever..

Good morning, everyone! It is a beautiful day outside. The birds are singing in perfect harmony and the sun rays lightly illuminate my window. Love this kind of weather! I hope it will stay like this a little bit longer before it gets cold again.

Love is in the air….remember that song? I love it! I want to share with you a new Valentines card. This card was created using patterned paper as the main focal point. The sentiment is from PTI. See that heart button? My little explorer found it the other day in one of my drawers. What a great find!

I bought that lace a long time ago and have been saving it to embellish a card. I think it adds a nice touch to my card. Ah! I distressed the top and bottom edges of the cream cardstock too. This card is so Shabby Chic! Don’t you think??

I wish to stay a little bit longer, but I need to run to the supermarket to get some groceries. Before I leave, I would like to thank you for all your beautiful comments. Thanks for taking the time to writing them! ~ It has been so nice to visit your blogs by just clicking on the links.

Enjoy your day.

My First Valentines Card!!

Happy Saturday! I wanted to share this card before I hit the road. My girl is working on a school project and needs some supplies to complete it. Guess where we are going? ~ Art supply store... Yeah!
I have been working on Valentines cards, and I am having so much fun creating them! During my long break, I had the chance to order the stamps I have been craving for. The order arrived, and immediately I went to my room to create this sweet card. Hope you like it!

I created a background on the white cardstock by stamping tiny pink  hearts. The whole inspiration came from the pink patterned paper. I noticed that the colors on it are red and pink.

Here is closer look for you to see the stamp details.

The heart and the sentiment are from PTI. The button is from my stash. I used twine to secure the button to the red heart. I just love to create cards with stamps that don't involve coloring. Oh! Don’t get me wrong, I  love to color images. But I do want to explore and incorporate new design ideas into my work.

I am determined to create more often and share it here. I have another card almost completed, but you need to come back again! In the meantime, enjoy this one! I hope this card will inspire you to start creating your Valentines cards. Thanks for all your wonderful comments; it is very nice to hear from you.

Have a restful weekend! ~ see you soon!!!

A little bit about the card: The image is from stamping Bella. I colored it with copics and pencils. I must say I love this coloring technique. For those who want to know, the patterned paper is from Basic Grey. I stamped the tiny “Happy Birthday” sentiment on a little tag and tied it around the ribbon bow.

The second card I am sharing today, I made it for my daughter’s teacher. I know Christmas is over! But I wanted to show it to you anyway. It is soooo simple but very elegant.

It was a lot of fun making this birthday card!

Okay my friends that all from me today. Thank you so much for stopping by and remember to write your comments so I can visit you too!
