Cosmobella ~ Cute and Sassy!

Good morning everyone and welcome back to my blog! Hope you all had a great weekend. I am here today to share with all of you the new card I created for the new challenge at The Pink Elephant challenge blog.  Hope you can join in the fun by playing along. Just click the link above and enter your creation. This week’s challenge is to create a card using one image, 2 dies cuts, and 3 of your favorite embellishments. How fun is that?  So, here is my card!

I finally inked up my cosmobella stamp. Isn’t she cute and sassy? I adore Stamping Bella and this is one of their stamps. I stamped the image with memento ink and colored with my prismacolor pencils.

The patterned papers are pieces I had from previous projects. I cannot remember who designed them. I used my nesties to cut the image and the pink matting. I also used my new fiskars border punch to add a little bit of interest to the focal point.

I love all kind of embellishments. But for this card, I used gems because of the scale. I was looking for small embellishments, and these little gems seemed to be the perfect fit for my card. Besides, I love the gems sparkle!

Hope my card will inspire you! I have to go now, but make sure to stop by TPE to see what the DT have created for this challenge. See you soon!!!

Happy Birthday!!!!

Hey girls, I am back! As I promised today, I am here to show the card I made yesterday. One of my blogging friends, Patty Tanuz, is celebrating her birthday in a very unique way. She asked us to make a card and mail out to her. In return, she will make one and send it to us as well. I can’t wait to see the one she is making for me so I can post it here.

If you want to join in the fun, you have until January 25th to send yours. Please stop by her blog and get all the details on how to participate. Please click here! ~ She is also planning on choosing a card and the winner will receive a little prize.

Nota: Si deseas participar en este intercambio de tarjetas,  por favor click aqui! Aquí encontraras toda la información necesaria para que participes.

I hope Patty will like the card I made for her because I made it with a lot of love! ~ Happy birthday dear Patty!

A little bit about the card: The image is from stamping Bella. I colored it with copics and pencils. I must say I love this coloring technique. For those who want to know, the patterned paper is from Basic Grey. I stamped the tiny “Happy Birthday” sentiment on a little tag and tied it around the ribbon bow.

The second card I am sharing today, I made it for my daughter’s teacher. I know Christmas is over! But I wanted to show it to you anyway. It is soooo simple but very elegant.

It was a lot of fun making this birthday card!

Okay my friends that all from me today. Thank you so much for stopping by and remember to write your comments so I can visit you too!

Good night!!!

Best Friends ~ Lottie and Gussie!

First Post:

Hello girls and welcome back to my blog! I tried to add this post yesterday, but I am still having problems with my small lighting box. On top of that, it was raining all day long yesterday and I couldn't take any pictue of my card. So, I waited until today to take good pictures to add them to my post. Remember the phrase, “a picture says more than a thousand words”. Well here you have it!

I created this card for the Pink Elephant new challenge. The image is from Bella stamps and it is one of my favorite ones. Lottie and Gussie were colored with colored pencils and gamsol. I added a little bit of ink around the image to resemble the sky. I couldn’t resist adding glitter to their wings. I do that to almost every project...LOL!

I used my Fiskars scallop edge punch. This one has the scallop and a little hole in it; I wasn’t really convinced of the way it looked after I punched the edge. So, I decided to cover the little holes with stickles and a touch of glitter to fix the problem of seeing the pink cardstock through the little holes.

When I finished the card, I noticed that I didn’t have a sentiment that could go with this image. I looked for a fine permanent marker and wrote the sentiment myself.

A have another card to show you, don't forget to come back again.
I am off to get ready the kids for bed, enjoy the weekend and thanks for stopping by today!

Gracias por visitarme hoy, espero que estes disfrutando tu fin de semana!
Hugs...

Hello!

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you are having a fabulous day. I will keep this post short since I have a sick child at home.  Anyways, here is my card. I hope you like it as much as I do.

This beautiful image is from Stamping Bella Paula sent it to me a couple of weeks ago. I colored the image with  prismas and OMS. I need to say that  I am very lucky to have Paula helping me to polish my coloring. The image and the coloring instructions are from a class she tought in her town.  I can't claim the coloring color choices, Paula did it as part of the intructions for her class.

I think that the pink ribbon and the green button add a really nice touch to the card. Gosh! I love the color combination on this card. Don't you? ~ It is one of my favorites!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Before I leave, I would like to thank all of you for your sweet comments. I really appreciate each of them!

Muchas gracias por visitarme hoy! Gracias por tus maravillosos comentarios...

For A Special Girl!

Hi girls! Hope you’re all having a beautiful day. I have a beautiful card to show you today. I made this one for The Pink Elephant color challenge. I really love Lori's color challenge for this week. The challenge is to create a card using the following colors: brown, yellow, neutral (I used white) and a color of choice. So, here is my interpretation for this challenge. Hope you like it!

The image was colored with my prisma pencils and gamsol. Before I go on talking about this card, I would like to thank Paula ~ my hero and mentor for helping me with this awesome coloring technique. Now onto the card! I used Lily Bittybloom image from Stamping Bella. This is such an adorable image and so perfect for a little girl’s card. That’s exactly what I made! The paper is from October Afternoon collection.

As you can see, I used white as my neutral color to make the image the focal point. I stamped the sentiment right onto the cardstock and added tiny white pearls to echo the neutral color. A touch of glitter was added to the stem. Hope you can see that! This card is so cute that melts my heart. Look! She is walking barefoot on the grass wearing a gorgeous dress, like the little girls during spring time. Her little face is so sweet and innocent! Yes, yes... I will admit it; I love this image because it remains me my little girl hunting eggs during Easter celebration.

That’s all from me today, Have a great Friday!
Before you leave, please write your comments to let me know you were here today.

Hugs,

Let’s party! ~ Is it Friday yet??

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog! I had to wait until today to post my new card. This seems to be another super busy week, but I managed to post my latest creation. Hope you like it!
Here it is:

Let me introduce you Stella. Judging by the picture, I think she really loves to party too much, and she is not able to grant any wish at this moment. Doesn’t she look happily drunk resting inside the martini glass? Anyway, this cute image is from Stamping Bella. A very, very special person sent it to me a couple weeks ago . Stella was colored with my prismas and blended with gamsol. Notice what I did with the sentiment. I stamped it and soon I realized that I was not going to be able to fit it on my card. So, I had to split it and I think it does look better this way.

Here is a closer look; I hope you can see the touch of glitter I added to the glass and to her magic wand.

Gracias por sus lindos comentarios; realmente valoro profundamente su opinión. Por favor traduzca mi página si lo considera necesario.
