Thanksgiving Day Greetings!

Good morning everyone!  Just popping in to share a special card I made for all of you ~ my sweet blogging friends and followers.  As we all know, this week we will be celebrating Thanksgiving Day.

ETA: This card made the top five at  Cupcake Inspirations  challenge blog.

This time, I wanted to try something new by making a vintage card. I have been saving this vintage image for a while and now I had the chance to use it. To decorate the card, I used a lot of my favorite embellishments!!  You all know how much I love lace, gems, glitter, and lots of layers on my cards.

I am joining in the following challenges with this card:
7 Kids College Fund ~ Give Thanks
 Cupcake Inspirations ~ challenge # 86
 Paper Pretties ~ Thank You

Thanks again girls for visiting! Have a wonderful and a happy Thanksgiving celebration …tons of blessings for each of you and your love ones!!!

Have a terrific day everyone!

Itty Bitty Betty Ice Skating!

Good morning peeps! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! I am back with another card; this one is for the newest challenge over at The Pink Elephant blog.  All you need to do is to create a card using the sketch below.  Here is what I came up with ~ enjoy!

Here are another challenges I am joining in with this card:

The image I’m using on my card is from Pink Cat Studio.  I had so much fun coloring this cute image with my colored pencils. To enhance the focal point, I created a little frame using my spellbinder dies. This card has a lot of layers and all my favorite embellishments on it.

Here is a closer look!

Thanks for visiting again and for leaving such lovely comments...!!!
Have a splendid day everyone!

Change a Life - Teach a Child!!!

Good morning sweet friends!  I am so happy to be back at my blog and share with all of you the card I made for our new challenge over at The Pink Elephant blog.  This week’s challenge is to create a card using the following colors: red, yellow, and blue.  Here is what I made, I hope you like it!

Today’s card uses the beautiful image from Claudia and Company ~ Puddle Jumpers School Time Landon. This sweet and fun image was designed by our super talented friend Lori Boyd.  As usual, I colored the image with my prismacolor pencils and gamsol.

The patterned papers I used on it are from the back to school collection by October Afternoon.  To finish my card I added a button, tied a piece of twine, and sprinkled a little bit of glitter on the sentiment matting.

Okay girls, I think that’s all for me today!  Now it is your turn to create a card and join in the challenge.
Thanks for stopping by and for taking the time to write your sweet comments, I truly appreciate your kind words!
Hope your day is full of beautiful surprises for you today…!!!

Dulce Brujita!!

ETA: There is a fun challenge go on at the Integrity Design Team Challenge blog. I just entered this card, and wanted to let you know so you can play along too.

Good morning peeps and welcome back to my blog!  I have a card to share today with all of you.  It is such a pleasure to introduce the newest digi stamp from Dulces Ideas Deseños.  “La brujita” (the little witch) image is so adorable and so much fun to color.   So, here is the card I made, hope you like it!

I created the little spiders by using a black pearl and a sharpie marker to draw their little legs. I also stamped the spider web on the upper-left corner of the card. Hope you can see all the sparkle around the image, it looks like magic powder ~ at least that's what my little girl would say!

Anyway, I hope you like this sweet and fun image as much as I do. Please be sure to visit Dulces Ideas Diseños to see what the rest of the DT has created for this release.

Okay girls my time is up… my little one is calling me because it is reading time!!

Thanks for visiting again… have a sweet day!

Little Princess!

Happy Monday everyone! It is such a beautiful day today. The weather is perfect for outdoor activities…see that’s why I love fall. Hope you are enjoying your day too!!! Anyway, it is time for another challenge over at The Pink Elephant blog.  This week, I got to play with one of the new images from Claudia and Company. I am happy to introduce Princess Chloe ~ isn’t she the cutest?  I just adore her because it reminds me the little princess I have at home. By the way, this week we have a theme challenge and that is Childhood.

So, here is what I made with this super cute image!

I colored Princess Chloe with my prismacolor pencils and gamsol.  I used shades of blues and reds to color her little dress. It is not pink as it seems!  I added glitter on the dress for a little sparkle. I got that idea from a little princess dress that my daughter has in her closet.   Inspiration is everywhere, even in your children closets.

Okay girls, I think that’s all for now.  I need to go back to my daily activities... cleaning, pinking up little messes and so on...  I will catch you later!

If you are looking for my inspiration, please be sure to stop by The Pink Elephant blog to see the beautiful creations by the rest of the DT.

Thanks for looking and for taking the time to write me your sweet comments!
Have a splendid day!
