Best Teacher!

Hello everyone!!! It’s Monday again, and you know what that means… yes, it is time for a new challenge over at The Pink Elephant blog! Also, today marks the end of my term as a designer for The Pink Elephant blog. All I can say is that it has been such an amazing experience that helped me to grow in so many ways.  So, thank you Lori for the opportunity you gave me to be part of your fantastic and super talented team. I am very happy to be able to share with all of you one more project inspired by this week’s theme challenge ~ Teacher Gifts. Here it is!

Ah, how I love to create this kind of projects. It is so much fun to work with templates! ….And what can I say about that super adorable image provided by this week’s sponsor ~ Inktegrity. Love the little bookworm image!  It is the perfect focal point! Don’t you agree with me? Anyway, all the coloring was done with colored pencils.

If you like the little tissue box cover, you can find the template here! The papers are from Cosmo Cricket and Pink Paislee.
Here are more views to see the little details on it!

I will come back again this week to share another card I made… see you then!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Lollipop Bear!

Hello there! Just popping in quickly to share a little card I made recently. So, here it is!

I used the Lollipop Bear image for the card’s focal point. This little image is one of the newly introduced images at By Lori Designs. The coloring was done with colored pencils and a few copic markers.

To finish off my card I added a button, twine, and a touch of glitter. The sentiments are from PTI. If you are wondering about the patterned papers, they are from… oh yeah.... Cosmo Cricket  and   Echo Park.    Sorry girls! I just had to stop typing to enjoy to the fullest … Beethoven “For Elise”…. I love this piece… It is beautiful!

Well, that’s it for me today! Have a lovely day!

Best Sister Ever!

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!! I am so happy to be back again, here at my little blog, to share with all of you a sweet and fun card that features another image from our By Lori Designs May release. This time, I am thrilled to introduce you the Lollipop Sisters image!!! Aren’t they the cutest?

I colored the image with my colored pencils and a few copic markers. This little card has some of my favorite embellishments such as crinkle ribbon, button, pearls, glitter, gems, and those tiny flowers I got from one of my friends. I created my own sentiment and then cut out with the spellbinder tag die. You can find that scrumptious ribbon at The Pink Petal Designs store.  Oh, before I forget, the pretty papers are from My Mind’s Eye and The Girls’ Paperie.

You have no idea how much I’m enjoying this month's release… I hope you are enjoying it too! It has been so much fun!

Okay, I let you go now! Have fun stamping and creating!

Thanks for visiting again ~ thank you so much for your sweet comments; I always love to hear from you!!!

Let Your Dreams Take Flight...

Hello everyone! I am back to share another creation I made for our newest challenge over at The Pink Elephant blog. I must say that I have challenged myself to create something out of my comfort zone. I created a Shabby Chic style card.  All started with an element that we needed to incorporate on our card for this week’s challenge ~ crinkle ribbon. I love it and I was inspired by it to create my card. Hope you like it!
So, here are the things that you need to keep in mind when creating your card for this challenge: favorite color combo, polka dots, and crinkle ribbon.

This gorgeous ribbon comes from our fabulous sponsor The Pink Petal Designs and you can purchase it here! I used the Victorian Rose to create the bow. Trudi Wilbur, the store owner, has prepared a step by step tutorial showing you a few techniques to create a gorgeous bow using this amazing ribbon. Just click here and ….have fun with it!!!

Hope you will find the time to play along with us this week at TPE!

I will come back tomorrow to share another little card… here is a sneak peek!!

Have a beautiful day!

Introducing School Time Landon...

Good morning sweet friends! Tuesday is finally here… I would like to share a simple but cute card I created for our By Lori Design May release. From now on…. and on every Tuesday, I will be sharing a card that features one of the new images being released during that month! Hope you like these new changes!!

Today, I get to introduce ~ School Time Landon. I adore this little image! I had a blast coloring those big cheeks, little clothes, and lunch box. He is such a smart boy… and got an A+ on his test….he, he!!! As usual, I colored the image with my colored pencils and copic markers.

I would like to share a little tip on how I created the little sentiment: first, I stamped a dotted double line image. Then, I looked through all my clear stamps and found that circle image so I stamped it on the paper to create some sort of seal. Finally, I used a fine point marker and wrote the letter “A” and the “+” symbol next to it! I know there are images out there where you just need to ink it and stamp it on the paper. But in case you don’t own one of those, just follow these ease steps to create your own!!!

Okay, girls that’s all I have for now! Please be sure to visit By Lori Designs to see all the beautiful creations by the rest of the Design Team! I have seen all the cards; they are such an eye candy!!!

ETA: answer to Trina's question ~ the papers are from The Boyfriend collection by Cosmo Cricket. Hope this can help, Trina!!

Thanks for visiting again!

Have a wonderful and magical day!

This card was created using By Lori Designs digital image. This is Cole and you can find him here!  As usual, all the coloring was done with my prismacolor pencils.

Here are some of the supplies I used to finish off my card: patterned papers are October Afternoon and My Mind’s eye, a little blue brad, spellbinder scalloped rectangle, button, and twine.

Now it is your turn to join in the challenge! I can’t wait to see what you will create with this awesome sketch! You have no idea how much I enjoy visiting your blog after you link your beautiful creation.
