Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I wanted to show you a card I made the other day. Yes, another Christmas card! I am still in the Christmas mode. . Probably I will be making more of these cards as the holiday celebration is approaching so fast, and I still need a few more cards to mail out to my friends and family. I don’t mean to stress you out but have you realized that Christmas is around the corner? Well let's just take one celebration at the time and think about all the blessings we have in our life. I am very blessed to have a wonderful and supportive husband, and two beautiful children that fill my life with so much love. I am very thankful for you for taking the time to visit my blog and share your thoughts with me. I really enjoy creating and sharing with all of you! That’s way I couldn’t wait to show this card.
I finally inked up my Santa Claus image and colored it with prismacolor pencils. To add texture, I used liquid appliqué on his hat, mittens, and clothes. I thought about adding it to his beard, but I decided to use glitter instead. I hope you can see all that on the close up picture!
I did some sewing on this card too. Have you notice that I have been doing that lately? ~ Well, I have been trying to incorporate this trend on my cards. I had to write the sentiment myself because the one I have was too big for this card. Oh! I stamped the sentiment on a mini tag and then attached it to my card with a button near the image.
I have another card to show but not today. You need to come back again!
*All I can say is that I made a card using the same patterned paper, but I use it in a different way for a whole new look.
Have a nice day and a blessed Thanksgiving!
