Surfs Up Dude!!!

Happy Tuesday everyone! Just popping in quickly to share a little card I made featuring Beach Boy Cole image.  I have been having a blast creating cards using the new images from our By Lori Designs June Release.   All the images are absolutely adorable!  So, here is my card!

As I mentioned, this card uses the image called Beach Boy Cole and you can get it here!

I colored the little image with copic markers and colored pencils. See the surfing board? I hand drew it on a piece of Kraft card stock. Then I cut it out and covered with patterned paper. I attached the sentiment with a piece of brown cord I had in my stash.

I think that’s all for today! I will back on Friday for our By Lori Designs blog hop…stay tuned for that!

Thanks for stopping by…see ya!!

Summer breeze and blue skies...

Good morning everyone! I’m so happy to be here… hoping you are having a fabulous day too. I got a little card to share today. I am still inspired by the summer breeze and blue skies…can’t wait for another trip to the beach! It is so much fun!

Today’s card features another image from our By Lori Designs ~June Release. The entire collection is based on a summertime theme. I just love it! I am happy to introduce Beach Boy Todd, adorable isn't he?

Most of the coloring was done with prismacolor pencils. I used copic markers to color Todd’s skin. Hopefully you are able to see the cute clouds I created using a little template and some chalk ink. I also added a touch of glitter on the waves, just to make them pop!

I truly love this nestability label die! I use it often to cut out the image for the focal point.  The shape is perfect for square cards like this.  The ribbon is from PTI and so is the button.

Well, I think that all for now! Please be sure to visit By Lori Designs to see all the beautiful samples created by the rest of the design team.

Thanks for stopping by and for all your sweet and kind comments!!!

Have a wonderful day!

Sweet Summer...

…and it has been such a sweet one for me and my little ones.  We have been having so much fun playing, visiting, and discovering new places.  Hope you are enjoying this time of the year too!!
Anyway, today I have a new card to share with all of you. I used Beach Girl Hannah image for the card’s focal point. As you may remember, she is one of the new images being released this month at By Lori Designs digi shop.

The little image was colored with pencils and copic markers.  The delicious patterned papers are scraps I had from previous projects.  I even cut out two tiny watermelons from the same paper to embellish the card. I placed one right next to her little hand and the other one next the sentiment.  I also used tiny brown pearls for the watermelon seeds!!

Some additional supplies/tools I used … EK Success border punch, red baker’s twine, button, brown pearls, and a touch of glitter.

Well, girls I think my time is up for today! Please be sure to visit By Lori Designs blog to see what the rest of the team created with this sweet image.

Thanks for visiting again…and for all those sweet comments you left on my blog. It is such a joy to read them!!!

Fun in the sun...

Hello everyone!!!  Just popping in quickly to share a little card I made. I didn’t want to hit the road without sharing it with all of you.   Some pretty papers are waiting for me at my favorite scrapbook store… can’t wait to get my hands on them!!! Anyway, here is my card!

Today’s card uses Beach Boy Christian image from By Lori Designs.  It is always a joy coloring images… specially this one because it reminds me my little boy playing on the beach. He loves to build sand castles!  While I was coloring the image, I had the idea to draw one behind the little image. I used colored pencils for that! I used copic markers for the skin.

I also made the little sun… I added some sparkle and topped it off with a yellow button.  I used some baker’s twine as well.  I really had a lot of fun making this sweet card that I will be sharing it at Wee Memories ~ challenge 59.

Thanks for stopping by again and for all your sweet comments!

Have a wonderful day!!!

Ribbons and Bows!

Hello…hello!! It’s me again! Just wanted to stop by to show you the card I mentioned on Monday’s post. I promise I will keep this short but sweet! I know it is a little bit late.  So, here it is!

Today’s card features a darling image called Lollipop Amy. She is one of the new images from our By Lori Designs May release As usual, I colored the image with my prismacolor pencils ~ can’t live without them!!!

Besides the colored pencils, I also used vintage ribbon, buttons, glitter, pearls, and one of the spellbinder large scalloped ovals. The patterned papers are from Little Yellow Bicycle, in case you wanted to know that!

Okay girls, I am off to continue working on another project I will be sharing soon!

Good night!
