posting previously made cards

Since I have a couple of cards I made for my copic class back in March, I was thinking that it might be a good idea to share those with you as well. I colored this image with my copic markers and I also used my prismacolor pencil and Gamsol. This is a digital image from Pink Petticoat. I printed out the image on GP cardstock using my lesser printer. I was happy that I was able to color it without smearing the image when I used the markers. I also drew some grass with my colored pencils and added a border of glitter between the patterned paper and the solid color cardstock.

Cute Elzybell

This is one of my favorites images! I love the Elzybell stamps they are so much fun to color. I colored her with my copic markers. I also added mushrooms on each side of the image, since she is walking on the field picking up flowers. I drew some grass with my marker to make it a little bit more realistic. When I placed the mushrooms, I knew that there was something missing so I added the butterfly to the card and of course some glitter to the flowers stems.

I stamped the image on GP cardstock
Ink: Momento
Markers: copic
Ribbon

First pic

Hello everyone! Here is my first pic. I made this card a couple weeks ago. I took a copic class and used this card as an example of my practice. I am not an expert coloring with markers, but I love playing with them. Besides coloring with copics, I also like to color with prisma color pencils, and primacolor watercolor pencils. I just love to try different coloring mediums and see the difference between them. I don't prefer one technique over another one, that's the fun part! Let me advise you about this picture. It is not a good picture, and the color paper choices may not be exactly what I would have chosen. But remember! making mistakes is a good way to improve your work. I hope you like this pic!

Please write me a comment! I would love to hear from you. Thanks!
